what we believe

Most of what goes unsaid
between people doesn't disappear.
It just sits there.

SidLabs builds tools that give those unspoken things a way out — card decks you can pick up and use in a classroom, a team meeting, or around the dinner table.

The conversation is always possible. It just needs a slightly different door.

the person behind the work

Siddharth Iyer Varma

He kept noticing the same gap.

Teachers were expected to hold pastoral conversations, support students through exam stress and identity crises — with no structure, no tools, and no training. The students who needed the most support were getting the least.

That gap is what he has spent the last four years working to close.

Siddharth's background combines clinical psychology (MSc, Manipal University; BA, Ashoka University) with hands-on school practice across four institutions in India. He has worked with 350+ students and teachers, and run programmes where 82% of students reported improved emotional awareness and 87% reported reduced stress.

But the work he's most proud of isn't any single programme. It's the tools and frameworks that any teacher, manager, or parent can pick up and use confidently — without depending on him to be in the room. SidLabs is the studio he built to keep making them.

what parents are saying

In their own words.

I realised I was the one doing most of the talking before. When I answered first, my daughter opened up in a way I hadn't seen before.

I have tried asking questions before. This is the first time my children felt like I was not interrogating them.

— Priya Darshani Gupta, Parent of two Teens

Nothing dramatic happened. But something shifted. We're talking a little more, and it doesn't shut down halfway anymore.
